Back in NZ

Well it was a interesting trip, slept on the plane over because the night before we went out and played pool etc in town and stayed up all night until we went to the airport (late) and checked in, went through customs and made it on the plane after liek 10 "final calls for qantas flgiht 38" the closed the doors behind us so we were the last on the plane, Awesome!

First day we went to the F1 track and kicked the Rugby ball around, then to Wattle Park and kicked the Rugby ball around, then walked aorund kicking the rugby ball around on the streets, go down quiet streets and kick the ball against building and catch the ball on the rebound, after using it for 2 days it almost looked over a year old!!

Heres us with our ball when it was new, outside my cousins old house where we stayed when Callum came with us, its number 67 now not 65, hmmm

On the tuesday before the grand prix they started up a f1 car in Federation Square, Boey and Logan seemed to like the noise it puts out, you gotta hear it to believe it really. We had the ball with us and we were passing it around the F1 car, security looked a bit uneasy about it and with Logans ball skills we moved away a bit, because if the ball hit the rear wing of the car (we were behind the car) and damaged it, we would be looking at a bill of atleast $60,000 to replace it, i cant afford that!

The F1 was awesome as usual, Boey loved it, and the post race track invasion, climbing fences and what not, a BMW guy gave us a pass for the paddock but it could only be used before 2pm on the sunday, and it was like 5pm sunday, but ohwell, got Lewis Hamilton to sign it for us, we just happened to be walking past at the right time and there he was! Kiss did a concert afterwards, Logan stayed for the whole thing, me and Boey watched like the first 8 songs, nice pyro technics and what not, was alright i suppose, personally i though Vanessa Amarossi was better though, she sung before them!

Saturday Morning, it was only 38 then, got to 44 in the afternoon at the circuit! Was talking to Jono (races in the Porsche GT3's) and it was 63 degrees inside his race car during the races!

Heres the best photo i took with our standy digital camera we've had since when, 2003 lol

After the f1 we checked out of our hotel and lost Logan for 5 days as he went out on St Patricks night, he didnt know where we were staying so me and Boey slept in a golf course on the Monday night, and then we stayed at Katies house, we onyl went out looking for Logan on the Friday because his parents started ringing us wanting to know where he was, we didnt know though, just assumed he's be sweet as lol.

We spent all our money before the last day, so we took the train to Broadmedows (no met card, so kept a eye out for the Connex officers) and then from there we walked like 2 and a half-3 hours to the airport, it was humid because it didnt know if it wanted to rain or not, we found a shopping trolly after about 40mins walking, so packed our bags in that, walked through some suburbs, across a paddock, ditched the trolly and walked up the freeway about 30mins, and there we were, at the Melbourne Airport, that was good fun.

Started raining as we took off in the plane, it was raining when we landed, those were the only times we saw rain though!

Back to the cold in NZ, the night we slept in the golf course (on the green of course as it was nice) it was 38 degrees at 10.30pm, and 28 degrees at 7.30am, it was the hottest night on record or something for march, it felt like it too!

Hey Sambob, looking good there, hope you guys caught up with Logan again. Sounds like you had a great time. Not too sure about the sleeping on the golf course though lol.
Take care
