Well its not going to be cheap, but thats the price you pay for safety, at the end of the day you want to protect yourself to minimise the risk of getting injured or worse etc etc.
Pretty keen to get into it though and lead a live a little less ordinary, cant stand the thought of living normal life with the whole 9-5 workday thing, it scares me!!!
Personally i believe life is measured in achivement, not in years. So may aswell go and achive soemthing, and one day win the GT3 Cup in NZ!
